Hmm it's almost been a month since I last posted. Let's see Dance class is going well. I might be going full-time at work. Buck reintroduced me to Smallville and now I am sucked into it. There was a reason I didn't want get sucked in, it's about $50 a season in stores, online it's a bit cheaper but I don't have the money to spend on that.

In other news my pad for DDR/in the groove broke. The sensors moved inside the pad, so i can't really play until I get a replacement. It has a 2 month warranty so it's going back.

This weekend Shawn, Ruth, Joy and Michael came to see me, each other, and go to Cedar Point. I unfortunately couldn't go because I had to work Saturday. Oh well. It was good to see them again. We played DDR, watched MST3K and hung out in general.

In other news that Ball room dance class that I wanted to do last year but couldn't (lack of a dance partner) is enrolling again and this year I have a dance partner. I'm going to check into that tomorrow.

Exercising....and no I'm not sick

I recently weighed myself to find that I have gained 20 lbs this summer. I am not happy about this, so I finally decided to get off my butt and do something about it. I bought DDR and In the Groove to keep me in shape.

I figure that I don't have the motivation to go out and run in the 80+ degree heat, but I do have the motivation to play a game that teaches me how to have rhythm. This idea to keep me in shape isn't my own however, Mike Jarvis and Matt Smith introduced me to the game a while ago, hearing how Mike uses it to keep in shape and seeing the scale is what pushed me over the edge to buy it.

In other news I got a raise at work. I am considering taking ballroom dance again and this year I have a partner, and Shawn is coming down from MI Thursday and Friday.

I went to Ft Wayne Thursday night to visit with Mike Jarvis, Buddy and to attend a Ballroom dancing party. Although Buddy was unavaible due to family visiting. On Friday we had a busy day. Mike and I went to Best Buy to get his DDR pad replaced. He's one of the few people I know that can break a DDR pad within 2 weeks from noraml use. From there we went to Hardee's for lunch, I have determined there are not enough Hardee's in the world, and on to Books, Comics, and Things. After we were done there we went to World Market and I got myself a Tea Infuser (Tea ball, used for loose leaf tea).

The Ballroom dancing party was great fun. I met a lot of new people and ran into Emily Foote. The party consisted of a group of people outside dancing (ballroom, and line mostly) and a smaller group inside playing DDR. Since I had no idea how to actually dance I mainly stuck with DDR, a game that seems to be growing on me like a cancer. I seem to be getting a little better at it as well. btw Mike it's your fault Lemmings on the run is in my head.

After everyone was too tired to play DDR anymore we played Mao. I looked at my cell phone and it was 1:00am the next time I looked it was 4:20am  and Mike and I decided we better leave. I had to be at work at 3:00pm in OH. I got 4hrs sleep drove home in time to take a shower and leave agin for work. I am exhusted. I go sleep now.

Weddings & Near Death Experiences (Cats)

I went to Ft Wayne this past weekend to celebrate Scott and Ellen's Wedding. That went well. I got a chance to hang out with Mike (most of you know him as Jarvis, but I trying to call him by his real name) and Buddy again, really good. I met some people from their young adult group, meeting them made me wish I was back in Ft Wayne again. Serious lack of fellowship with people my age.

Anyway I decided to visit Keith & Andrea (Nick & Nat were busy or else I would have saw them too, I wish I could have seen them).I saw "Little Manhattan" quite possibly the funniest romatic comedy movie of all time. I romatic comedy as told by a 10 yr old boy who falls for an 11yr old girl. only one flaw in the movie and boy doesn't get the girl. Since when does a romatic comedy care about realism? The guy always gets the girl no matter how improbable it may be, so why not with a 10 yr old?

Jack decided I was interesting and that I needed to be checked out. I scared him away most of the time but once or twice he'd sneak up on me. (Jack is a cat btw) So yeah after about 5 hrs in their apartment taking normal breaths was nearly impossible. Thank God I had an inhaler in my car or else I might not be alive to wirte this. For those of you who don't know
